The education begins!

A co-worker of mine dropped by my desk and noticed my tank with Sammich in it. Sammich, being in a nice 3g, with lots of plants, caves, heater... he's swimming around, fins all nicely displayed, very active.

So my co-worker says.. that's a betta? Usually when I see them they're just sitting there moping and boring looking.. but yours is all.. "Look at me I'm attractive." Well, that's because he's in a good environment... check out the bubbles he makes... he's very territorial, flash the mirror and he flares getting all excited. And my co-worker says, "He's got me attracted to him, I bet he'd score with some females if you had them." I laughed.

He was impressed with how much personality Sammich has. It always amazes me how you can see him thinking.. even the new snail, Chips. I can see him thinking, not as mindless as a vacuum cleaner.

My parents said the same thing with my Bettas. They thought they laid around, didn't know girls could go together either.
