I currently feed my boys New Life Spectrum Small Fish Food along with San Francisco Bay Brand frozen bloodworms. I add Vita-Chem, and Seachem Garlic Guard to the frozen bloodworms. Because of the Vita-Chem I don't see a problem with feeding mostly frozen bloodworms. I figure that the Vita-Chem adds anything that a pellet would have, but they get more useable protein from the frozen bloodworms. I also think that the bloodworms are easier to digest.
After just a few weeks of this my fish have much better color, fin regrowth on one that has had shredded fins for years, and both seem very healthy and active. On my new marble there is already notable color change after only a week.
