Hey guys! I was thinking.. some of you guys have quite a few bettas. (And I'm so jealous of you guys because I'm only allowed to have one lol) So, what would you guys do to save your bettas if there was a tornado or fire? For me, I take care of getting my betta Gillie, my mom gets my yellow lab Lolli, and my brother gets my cocker spaniel Gertie. Do you guys have a plan on how to get your pets to safety? I'm not trying to upset anyone, I'm just genuinely curious.
Well I have 3 bettas and a 20g community...and while I love them all dearly; my first thought is always going to be my little boy. Now if it's obvious I have time to get my fish? I have a couple kritter keepers on hand, and tupperware for emergencies. But I would imagine for things such as tornado or fire I wouldn't even think of it; I'd grab my son and escape and run into the basement.
Lol I'm not at all saying the children are a second thought, I'm talking about the plan after the children and other family members are saved. Yeah, I would never think of my children as second to bettas haha. I definetly agree with you there. :P
Well that way i have to say, cup all the bettas into fully sealed tupperware, dont bother with holes until you are safe, gather the rats into a backpack, bettas in a grocery sack, and then round up the dogs and head into the basement. X3
If I had time I'd grab tupperwere from downstairs and shove them in it with a bunch of their tank water and hopefully remember to grab my Prime and Food. I also have the cats to think about as well which I'm... not sure what I'd do with besides shove in my car. [Pretty much we only have earthquakes here so most of the saving would be after the fact]
