it really does ! I'm researching alot but it helps me most when people tell me from experience. I figured I could try the mollies in the big tank. I just thought they were too big for my 10 gal bc they get to be so big. I bought an ammonia ,nitrite etc water treater. so would it be ok for me to add in the fish i want (properly acclimated of course) all at once? and by that I mean the same day, and then just use the treatment to prevent an ammonia spike?

I would add maybe 3-4 fish at a time and carefully watch for an ammonia spike. Wait a week and then add the next 3-4 fish. So you could add 3 mollies, wait a week and then add 3 cory cats, wait a week and then add 3 tetras, or however you plan to stock the tank. Even with an ammonia treater, I'd be worried that adding so many fish at once would overdo the bioload.
