Talking Going to USA in 3 months

Hey guys. I am going to the USA in 3 months and am really happy because of that. I wish I lived there...
This is all that I want to buy there for my betta:

BettaBed ( Is it secure? Should I remove the wire in the middle of the leaf if I buy it? )

Bubbler / Airstone. I am not sure which one and if bettas really need it, even though they look really cool. Tell me what you think.

Oh yea, just one more question. I have a filter in my 5 Gal aquarium. The man said it doesnt need any refill, just cleaning with water. Is this right?

Those decorations are cute! If you want to check if they're safe or not, take some pantyhose, and basically run it along the ornament, if it snags, or rips the pantyhose, it'll probably snag and rip your Betta's fins.

Bettas actually don't need bubblers/airstones. Since they breath with their labyrinth organ most of the time. You can get one if you want to, but make sure it's adjustable, and put it on the lowest setting. Also it may disrupt your Betta's bubblenest making.

Yes, many bettas love it. It helps to place aquarium sealant over the metal spine of the leaf, and the tip. It removes sharp tips and prevents rust!

My boy has an airstone in his tank. He always is curious, because I always place it different places about his tank. I find that it disturbs the surface of the water so much he stopped bubblenesting, so I put under some ornaments to break the bubbles up and it has proved effective.

Have fun here in the US!:)
