mine dont mind a glass cup for WC i did pour out my 1st betta from a cup into a jar, that was the last time i did that (when i received him). after that he went into a .5 gal tank.and then a .5gl tank. i do nearly the same as pitluvs but i sllowly add water into the cup until its full within 30minutes, no floating the cup.
