Betta tank???

I just purchased a male betta and put him in his own 2.5 gallon tank with a filter. However, the heater just broke and the water temp is about 73 degrees F and the filter is too strong and he stuggles to swim with it on. I have a 29 gallon tank with 9 zebra danios, 5 red eye tetras, 2 mollies, 3 yo yo loaches, and a few ghost shrimp. Is there any way the Betta could go in there or would he cause far too much trouble??? Is it okay to leave him in the tank he is in now with no heater and no filter? thank you for your help!!

What filter are you using? Sponge filter is enough for me. He'll need the heater if your room temperature falls below 76 degrees Celsius. I've answered in your other thread regarding the tankmates. No can do. A lot of your fish are potential fin nippers.
