Painting (or art) Thread

Im not sure if there is a thread like this but I see alot of people on here are very talented artists so I thought I would start a non-betta related thread where we could all share our art work.

Here is a painting I am working on. I am taking an oil painting class and this is my first painting since taking a class, the left picture is the original the right is mine. I hope you like!

The cliffs and rocks are alittle off and I am still working on this piece but here it is after only two classes. I feel brave enough to work out side of class, but im not sure.

oh good grief you can paint... lol I suck at painting :) but I do best with pen or pencil drawings...

WOW! Your good, Sena! No, WAAAAY BETTER then just good! YOU'RE EPIC!!! I'm still terrible at people. ::) But here's a portrait of my lil sis's Peke a Poo.

Those are good! I cant really draw to save my life. I seem to paint better, and the class is helping, ill have to post some pre-classes paintings.

I can NOT paint. :P All I can do is charcoal and graphite. I'm still learning colored pencils.

I made myself an artist page on facebook while ago, my goal is to become an professional artist, I dont plan on having it as my only income but I do wish to sell or show at a gallery or an art festival. but here is the link:

lol. Im going to school to be a chef but I have always wanted to be and artist, Whenever people asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up I said artist.

So did I. People are still encouraging me to into that field, but I REALLY want to fly. I love flying. You feel so free up there! No telephone lines, or cars, or buildings blocking your view. Just open space. *sighs wistfully*

Haha well, I don't see why not be what you want. Abd TielBird, yes you can draw :p you are not bad at it at all.

Now, I cannot paint to save my life, but pass a pen or pencil and I sure can do pretty good... My one teacher saw a drawing I did, she said it looked like a real picture... so she got me to draw her dog (she has the only copy, there is no digital) so I did. She surprised me, when she said her husband wanted me to have 50 dollars O_O it was a standard 8 by 10.... nothing big. lol
