Is this the bubble thing I was reading about which means my betta is ready to mate?

I was reading that when bettas are ready to mate the make a little bubble thing.. As I woke up this morning to check on Sebastian.. I noticed this.. Is this that?

it doesnt mean they are ready to mate. sometimes it can mean he is happy,, but some bettas just make them out of instinct.

Mine blows one after every water change just about. It means they're relatively healthy and happy.
Is that one of those divided setups with the divider taken out?

Bubble nest ^

It's a territory marker, sign of breeding readiness, and a sign of a regular healthy betta. I do reccomend a tank uprade for your bettas.

those tanks are good for fish chores. I use em to scoop water out of my tanks during water changes.
