Rant- I have a cough and that sore throat came back and is killing me! I didn't get very much sleep last night and I am officially exhausted, but now I must pull myself together for a Social Studies Test

Gawd I hate my externship. Thirteen more days at this doctor's office and then job hunting full time. Practice manager thinks I'm a total moron for some reason. I'm 43 years old, yes I remember how to get the mail. Jerk.

Anti-rant: my truck is paid off, got the title on Saturday! Only 38k miles on my baby and hopefully it will last me for many years. (LOVE my truck)

I have an addiction problem. The following things should be kept far away from me or an intervention may be necessary:
* bettas (why must you be so cute and needy?!)
* soda (why must you be so tasty?!)
* Amazon.com (why must you be so convenient?!)
Two will bankrupt me and the soda just can't be good at all in the quantities that I drink it in.

my rant is betta related about ebay item #250872862056 basically i live in the uk love bettas and plan a small breeding plan 2females 1 male but i havent done all my reseach yet so no plans in motion or fish orderd back to the ebay item its being sold in the uk to house to adult male bettas please look and if your compelled message the seller as i did i had a message back sayin i know nothing about fish but all i needed to know is 2 adult male bettas living permently in about 2litres of water with no room for heater or filter being sold in a cold country is plain silly of him or crule but if i am wrong please sombody tell me so i can appologize for calling him dumb and crule
ps this is my 2nd post sorry lol thanks for reading..

Hi wan2learn and welcome to the forum. And no, you weren't wrong. That's waaaaaaay too small for 2 bettas. It's too small for even 1 betta, let alone 2. Looks like it's the Lee's Betta kit? In general, anything Lee's sells for bettas is bad.

i was at PetCo the other day to see if they had any amanos i could grab when i walked past their betta section.. i really need to stop doing that..
they had the super-sized bettas! i wanted both! because they were housed in those teensy-weensy cups!!! the poor buggers were practically folded in half!! oooooh if i had the money for two more tanks and accoutriments, i would have bought them both.. but they wanted $20!! EACH!!! one was a pale pastel blue, the other was a pale pastel gold. both looked in really rotten shape.
