Miah- This fish means a lot to the person who put him up for adoption. There's a $5 adoption fee for a reason, so people will take good care of him. A one gallon bowl just wouldn't cut it for this fish.

Yeah, I would only approve someone who would keep him in at LEAST a heated, 2.5 gallon tank. No dinky bowls allowed!

Definitely not. He's very loved, and deserves no less than 2.5 gallons AT THE LEAST.

Kidding about tank size? I don't think so, either.

I would in a heartbeat if I didn't just get my little girl. I promised my boyfriend no new fish for a while, and I owe him that since he's been so patient with me lately while I went through upgrading my tanks and searching for my perfect little girl, so I owe him that much at least.
But I'll mention it to him and bait the hook, see if I catch anything =)
He is a handsome boy, and I'm sure you will find the perfect home for him.

Miah can clarify but I read Miah's post as meaning she couldn't take it because she only has a 1 gallon bowl.
