So im currently setting up my Betta Violet's new 10 gallon tank and i turned the heater on about 5 hours ago. It doesnt have where u can set it to a specific temp. just raise it or lower it. i have a temp. strip on the side of the tank that reads 82-84 degrees but then i also have a metal temp. gauge for meat (never been used on meat) that reads 80 degrees. Which do u think is more accurate? Also do u think i should get a glass temp. gauge that is always in the tank, or is what im using ok.
