In the place I used to live there was an Arowana in one of the pet stores, he was probably in a 45 gallon tank, he filled up the whole thing length wise. I think he was a drop off or something, they were probably doing the best they could.

Ive always wanted a 40gallon tank, planted, with two black moors. Or a huge tank with some stingrays. Maybe even a nice marine tank, with corral, clownfish and other saltwater fish...:)

Yeah, if we ever have the time and money we would probably buy all the tools necessary and build it ourselves--and probably bigger than the minimum, it would be a part of the wall essentially! We've built smaller tanks and altered tanks before, and I know the big ones require a lot more work, but that would be an exciting thing to do.

They are really beautiful fish, I'll give him that. HUGE fish though. I just keep thinking of the cost to feed the thing, PLUS the water changes! Wow, haha! At that point we might as well just be zookeepers right? lol!

I doubt we will ever get one, but this is a 'fantasy', right? :D

I think my fantasy would be a massive breeding room set up with a betta barracks that could house up to thirty males in four gallons square, and then a huge sorority (100+ gallons with only female bettas stocked). In the livingroom i would have a 200+ gallon community with... i dont know what, but i would certainly have butterfly loaches as one of the inhabitants, and all would be very heavily planted and nicely aquascaped... And tied into my plumbing with all the proper filters and purifiers, so that i wouldnt have to do water changes. XD

Yeah... That would be nice... Hmm... Where did i put my lotto ticket?

My fantasy tank would be a 450 litre blackwater biotope paludarium with emersed 'stream bank' plantings. It would be dimly lit, and have a waterfall style filter.

In it, I would house a large group of wild bettas, along with a school of chili rasbora, and a small colony of croaking gourami.

I am renting an apartment, last time my landlord came in I had more tanks, but they were all smaller. These tanks aren't all full but I now have two 20 gals, two 10 gals, one 5 gal, two 2.5 gals, one 1.75 gal, and two 1 gallon drums.

Andddd two empty 10 gals for grow out!

Lucky for me she's a flake and won't fix anything, and tends not to come around if I pay my rent.

My landlord doesnt mind our tanks, he comes to see the pets often actually.

My dream is a 75-90g planted tank with stand and regular plain ol community fish! I like to stay realistic, so I can reach my dreams. Right now we're working on a 50gL version of it. Or a 120g Yellow Lab and P. Phenochilus. I am dying to get this tank!!
