Switching sides in divided tank.

My two females are in a divided tank. When I clean it, could I have them switch sides? Each side has different plants (fake) and "toys". I just thought it would be a nice change for each of them, but I don't want to stress them if bettas like to be familliar in their surroundings.

Thanks. I am new to owning females. They are quite fun and interesting! completely opposite personalities!!!

Any time you change a Bettas surroundings it will be a little stressful.
Id say, if it's not broken, then don't fix it.

That being said, they will appreciate a little mental stimulation, so maybe swapping one toy from each side would be a nice new thing for them to explore. :)

I have swapped sides in my divided tanks before without issues..My one guy doesn't mind the filter and my other guy didn't like it so much so I switched them.
