about food other than pellets

I've been feeding my betta hikari bio gold pellets, and now I'm trying to feed him tetra freeze dried blood worms, but he won't eat it. So I'm wondering if there's any other types of protein food that might interest him. I'm looking at hikari freeze dried food, and they have daphnia, and brine shrimp. I'm wondering which one is better, or should i stick to blood worms.

I would actually go with frozen or live, because the freeze dried stuff has very little nutritional content.

My betta has been eating Omega One betta pellets and really likes the Omega One tropical flakes I feed his tetra tank mates. He swims down to the bottom corner and waits for the current to bring his food to him...lol...smart little booger.
