Is QRX okay?!

Im a new betta owner and was wondering if QRX is okay?! He has burrowed a hole under the rocks/gravel and hides in there all day long pretty much. We just moved him into a new bigger tank today and at first he was swimming around and loving it! Now he just hides (and curls up into a weird position!)

Probably just sleeping or getting used to his environment. Keep a eye on it and see if he keeps doing it.

If you acclimated him properly (float his cup in the water for 20-30 mins while every so often taking water out of the cup and adding in tank water) then it may just be him getting adjusted to his new home. Sometimes larger tanks can scare them until they get used to it and learn there is no danger. Make sure the temp is 78-82, as lower water temp can cause lethargy.

thanks for the advice! he's been acclimated properly and his heater is at 78, he's not eating at all today. im hoping its just him getting used to the larger tank.

when i first got my betta, it took him like 6 days to eat his first pellets. So just keep an eye on him but i think he will be fine
