I'm not trying to be rude here but Miah, if I were you I'd worry about my own goldfish before giving advice to others about theirs.
LaLaLaLeyla, do the best you can with what you have to work with. I'm sure he's getting good care and lots of love.

A big plastic storage tub really is the best and cheapest way to go in terms of temporary goldfish accomodation. Even if you can't filter it, a 70 litre tub is better than a 2.5 gallon unfiltered. :)
If you have a garden, a kiddie pool would be great too, if the weather is warm enough. :)
woo!! .. kiddie pool is such a good idea for temp housing .. and could be used as a qt too !!

I have two goldfish, Fuzzy and Sharp. :)

They are about 2 years old and are already HUGE!!!

Ive had lots of goldfish in the past, but my favorite was Celia my ryukin who only lived two weeks.
