[Butch the Red knight]

My male red betta, Butch knows how to leap for his food. he does it really well. I was wondering though if there is any other trick i can teach him so he wont be bored all the time. The cool thing is i when i call him he swims to the front and looks at me :D . So if any1 knows any tricks i can teach butch please post it. Thank you. :) I already tought him how to leap for food and Pay attention when i call his name.

i saw a post on the web the other day,that someone
gave their Betta a pingpong ball,the Betta loves it,
apparently it plays with it a lot. :)
or maybe you could add a marbel ?

My fish, Tango, jumps and responds to his name too!
I taught him to jump through a hoop. I held the "hoop" (a plastic braclet) by submerging the hoop 1/2 inch, and holding food for him to get. Eventually he learned to jump through when it isn't touching the water.

I am currently very busy, but come Christmas, i will hopefully be able to video my betta jumping.

I've seen this! It was on animal planet ^_^ It wasn't a Betta though, just some lady who thought her goldfish might be bored and taught it to jump through hoops. I was amazed. I too look forward to seeing it!

i wish my betta could do that. hes really old. the years ive had him ive never thought about him being bored. i had a snail with him in there and hed mess with him sometimes but eventually he didnt care about it.
