Hey there HelloThere! I'm a hairstylist ;) first off it is possible to get this look with a perm (using a larger roller of course), but i would advise against perming unless you are willing to commit a lot of time and money. Average perms are over $100 each time it needs to be done, including when new hair grows in... they are a major investment and if u get bored of it u will have to cut it off or risk major hair damage. And you can absolutely NOT do one on yourself, the chemicals are very strong and u could easily melt your hair off even if leaving the solution on a few minutes too many. I would day stick with the curling iron, i know its tedious, but you hair will be much better off!
