I've seen a picture once of a LARGE betta. It was compared to another betta to give it scale, I swear this thing was like 5+ inches. Absoltuely massive.

I love this little guy, he's tearing through the mysis shrimp I feed him. He's really warmed up to the tank and he's all over the place now. He's gotten the idea that I'm his provider, he now swims to the surface and the front of the tank when I come around. I can't help but toss a snack in there. :D :D

How did they pack him so he'd survive the trip? How do you mail a fish????

Same way it's been done for years. How do you think fish arrive at your LFS? Often, a lot of fish die during the mailing, what you see at your LFS is likely only a portion of what was actually sent.

Usually it's express mail, packed with a heat pack (or cold pack, depending on the climates it will be traveling through), in a well-padded box with water. It does stress the hell out of the fish, but that's why a lot of sites ship only express with a lot of species.
