List of best-to-have medicines?

I'd like a list (long, short, whichever works) of medicines and such that are best to have for a "just in case" deal. I've lost Madame to a cory cat polluting the water, and Maine to the dreaded Mystery Illness.

I have:
Almond leaves: grade A,B,C,D
Aquarium salt (for outside!)
Epsom salt (for inside!)
Maracyn Two (shipping)

I want to collect medicines and such for minor and major illnesses, that way I am always prepared... and then maybe feel like I did do something right by at least having everything...

If you can put what the medicine(s) are used for that'd be lovely!

Definitely a parasite medication. I recommend General Cure or Jungle brand.

Otherwise it sounds like you've got yourself pretty much covered.

hmm ok :) because yeah I don't want stuff like fin rot medication :p All that ever needed for my rescues was warm clean water and good food!

I dont know what its for but i think tetracycln is a popular one too??

Anyway, I have:

Epsom salt
General Cure: For Parasites
Triple Sulfa: Bacterial Infections
Malachite Green: (only for very stubborn Ich)

I also use Stresscoat+ in addition to my regular conditioner

tetracyclin is an antibiotic, but it's gotten so overused that it's not as effective as it used to be XP Definitely both Maracyn one and two, Stresscoat, and API General Cure =) Also having fresh garlic or a jar of minced garlic to soak pellets in is handy for internal parasites or picky eaters.

ALL I have ever used is Aquari-Sol and salt.
Salt for those tailbiters and Aquari-Sol as a preventative as adviced by a successful breeder, I add it to every water change and my fish are all very healthy.

haha :p Darn rights I know my salt (marine salt: no-no :P)

Hmm ok, I may get Malachite Green, and what you mentioned. Definitely looking for stress coat. This town sucks o_O

And thanks everyone :) those are some good medications to be looking for...
Btw, has anyone heard of the method of using 12 pennies (copper treatment)? I think it is for velvet.
