Female Betta Conditioned Signs

I have conditions my female for my spawn that I still don't know I'm going to start or not. I have been feeding her live and freeze dried foods everyday and she's not that plump then my last females in spawns. Does the female have to be super plump to spawn?

She probably just has less eggs. Some girls are super fertile and produce large spawns, some produce smaller ones. ^^

Good luck :3

some females dont get plump until you introduce them into the spawn tank with the male. when they are ready they will flare and swim energetically when seeing a male they like.
