Bloated Sorority?

So it seems all of the girls in the sorority are getting bloated now. What could be the reason? Are there things in the water that causes this? Or is it just to much food?

Other words: My very fat female in QT is starting to not look like a cherry now, yay.

What have you fed them lately? I had this happen once when I accidentally put too many bloodworms in my sorority's tank.

it can be quite easy to happen... especially when you have a few who are piggier than the others

I have this problem - all of my skinny waifs have turned into beach balls with fins!
Then again, I think I overfeed, so it is my fault.

lol Yeah.. sounds like a feeding frenzy gone awry. As hard as it sounds, sometimes it's easier to feed them pellets, one pellet at a time. Unless they are in a community with other fish.. then you will have trouble. But this all depends on what you feed them and how often.

What other symptom are they having beside the enlarged tummies....

How many females and how long together in this tank, other tank mates, tank size, how much and how often are the water changes, filter, live plants, additives used, feeding info, aggression issues....can you post a pic....
