I've had him since last October, so like 13 months. I got him when he was 2.5 months old. I saw him when he was feathered, but smaller, and month before I bought him so I know he was young <3 he's my little buddy, no matter how obnoxious he is.

Cute birds! <3 Sprite made me go 'Awwww'. He is so cute!

I have 2 American Budgies. Skyler and Junior! <3 My annoying little butts.

They also no longer have this same cage. Now they have a much larger cage flooded with toys and perches. 0.0

I love parrots! I am so jealous of you guys. :) I am getting a cockatiel in a few years.

When we lived further north, we were in a bird sanctuary, and all the cockatoos (mostly sulfur crested, but some black) and rainbow lorikeets would flood over the balcony. They were pretty tame, and once they learnt we were a good source of food we've have bird visitors all the time. :) We had special ones that would always claim the best places on our arms/heads/shoulders/whereever. Mine was an older one called Choker who was pretty aggressive to other lorikeets and to everyone except me. He used to let me stroke his soft fluffy chest. My sister had one called Vanilla which loved to have his back stroked.
I kind of miss living there. I'll see if I can find a picture of the rainbow hordes.

My LPS, this same parrot one I mentioned, has a pretty much store "pet"; a Black Palm Cockatoo. He's free, but you have to have a mate for him and you need to breed him to get him.

Yeah, they are quite common here - it's hilarious watching their antics on the phone lines. They are such clowns! And yours is very handsome. :)
