Pictures of my bettas

Hello everyone,

I just joined the forum. I've been keeping Bettas for a little over 10 years ago (started keeping them in college). When I started keeping them I kept them in a gallon vase with a plant on top (this was before I knew much about them). Since then i've learned how to keep bettas properly
I have 2 male betta fish. One veiltail male betta in a 10 gallon tank with a few snails and one halfmoon male betta in my 29 gallon community tank.

Here are pictures of both bettas and the tanks they are in:

Thanks the for the compliments Vilmarisv and Bettakong.
When I got the halfmoon he was between dark brown and black in color.
After I put him in the 29 gallon tank he colored right up.
Are halfmoon bettas usually bigger than the veiltails? My halfmoon looks bigger than my veiltail.

Halfmoons aren't normally bigger, unless he's a King Halfmoon, which they are about twice the size of a regular betta. but seeing his size compared to the tetras, I say he's not, your veiltail is probably just young.

Both of them are beautiful, and the tanks are nice too! :D

Thanks for the nice compliments on my halfmoon. Maybe the halfmoon looks bigger because of his larger fins? I've had my veiltail longer than the halfmoon.

Your HM is GORGEOUS!
Lol. your HM probaby look bigger because of his fins :) my VTs and CTs look bigger than my Spadetails, but its just because of the fin size (actual bodies are the same)

Thanks LittleBettas. I guess your right maybe the halfmoon looks bigger because of his larger fins. I love my bettas
My veiltail just started making a bubblenext, he's got it right next to the heater. how many bettas do you have?
