Depends. If you want some common goldfish, I'd say around 5 or if you want some fancies maybe like 10?

Depends. The rule of thumb I go buy, in some cases give or take, is 55G for one, ONE Common Goldfish, and 30 for ONE Fancy Goldfish, like a Moor or an Oranda.

If you have multiple Goldies, you can chop of a few gallons. Like for my pond, each fancy will get 25 gallons, bit there will be a few empty gallons so I guess thats for them anyways.

And 75 for a Pleco.

One I love goldies. My mom has always been quite fond of them while my dad sees them as colorful carp. I had a large tank of four quite a few years ago. Such funny little fish. My mom has a pair now. I'll have to find pictures of them.

I totally agree with you bettamiah. My fish may seem small now but I know that I will have to upgrade in a few years.

I eventually want a fancy goldfish pond. With some of the..ridiculous looking ones!

I'm sorry, but the idea of looking down at a pond with this looking back up at you:

cracks me up!!

But I like most goldfish. The ones with the big bags under their eyes scare me though! But I like ranchu goldfish and ryukin and all that~:)
