Are these fry going to drown?

Some of the day old fry are on top the lily pads and I'm worried they'll drown since they're not in the bubble nest?

They wont drown, they are close to the surface.
What I would worry about in this case is of them not getting the necessary exercise they get by falling off the nest and swimming back up. Of course, I don't know if it makes a difference but I think that makes stronger fish.

I was able to lift one of the lily pads very slowly and let about 16 of the fry slide off. At first I was worried because they all sunk to the bottom, but then I slowly saw them one by one swimming back up. There's still about 10 scattered around the other Lilly pads, but they're over the nest and I don't want to use something to push them of encase i injure one of them. Thanks for helping me :D

That's good.
I would try to get the rest off... they might not be able to find food up there and starve.
You can une an eye dropper to catch them and put them back in the water. I used to do it all the time when doing water changes.

It's really a great tool when you're raising fry. You'll find them at the baby isle in drug stores.
When doing water changes you will suck fry with the syphon, it's really hard NOT to do so I use an eye dropper to capture the fry and place them back with their sibblins. Takes patience but I still haven't found an easier way.
