Pea Puffers <3

After much deliberation and research, my boyfriend and I decided to buy two dwarf puffers. They're currently residing alone in our 50g tank until we can get their 15g set up. (My boyfriend, who used to build houses and has built a ton of stuff in our apartment, is installing a shelf for their tank.)

I've already fallen in love with them. They're the fattest little things and just hover craft everywhere. :3 They love the moss ball in their tank and always hang out together.

We have named them Herp and Derp.

I fed them a couple hours ago and now they chase me and stare whenever I'm by the tank.

TonyK - The lady I spoke to at the lfs and all my research says they need approximately 5g/20l each! :)

Sorry, I should have said 20 gallon/long. Can you post a picture of your tank? I would like to see how you have them set up.

I have one. They totally recognize owners and they WILL hover to try and get your attention. Huey is always o.o. Adorable picture! I wish you much joy with them.

TonyK - I don't have their tank set up yet, but once I do, I'll post pictures! I've just got the 50g running with a few plants and castles for now. It's very I unexciting. (I have it so they have enough coverage to avoid aggression, but not really to look nice.)

Vaygirl - Thank you! They totally recognize me and follow me around the tank when I walk by. I let my step-son feed them and now they stare at him whenever he's around. :3

Tikibirds - Not really. I have to make sure one isn't bullying the other during feeding time, but otherwise I've found them to be very low maintenance. I have two filters and a bigger tank ATM, so that might change later.

CT57 - I don't think they'll get much bigger. C:
