New pellets

So, i'm at the pet store and have New Life Spectrum, omega one and Wardley pellets in front of me. I'm trying to introduce pellets to Bowie. I tried Hikari bio gold, but he hates that. I'm thinking new life because he currently eats and Loves nutrafin max flakes which the first ingredient is also krill. Thoughts?

Wardley, no. BIG no.

Omega One is good, there are lots of great stuff in them, they're a middle of the road food.

New Life Spectrum is amazing. The best I find. I would personally go with that over anything else. We can't get them locally here :(

Thank you! I made this post before I seriously started scrutinizing the ingredients, and became seriously unimpressed with Wardley real quick. I didn't get omega because I was concerned with how he'd like it, being Salmon based.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he'll like it. Today is his fasting day, so I'm hoping he'll be more receptive to new food tomorrow morning.

And if he doesn't like them, just wait it out. They can survive for at least 2 weeks without food. He will get hungry eventually.

Thanks! It's been a bit frustrating since this will be the third brand of pellets I've tried. I just like to think he has refined taste, like me. lol.

How long did you try each brand? Other than pellets potentially being too big (not a problem with NLS!), most fish will take to just about anything in a week or so. Only one or two feedings isn't enough, especially because some fish don't understand it is food at first!
