Falina, I do not have a filter on my tank, but i was doing full water changes once every two weeks, should i only do partial water changes once a week?
I have an approx. two gallon tank ( I know, I know, i should upgrade)

Yes. Partial changes are better for your fish because it keeps some of the good bacteria the fish needs to survive. Full water changes take away that.

In such a small tank 25% twice a week is what i would do.
