QUESTION Important! Need Help

Tomorrow is the day my betta goes into his new 10g tank.

My question is can i just drop him in the tank right away or should i put him in a bag first and let it float around the water so he gets used to the temp?

definately put him in the bag and let him float for atleast 15-20 minutes, i usually do more just to be safe. periodically take some of his bag water (or just use the cup he came in if you still have it) and dump a bit and add some of the new water to slowly adjust him to it. this should be done any time you cup/bag him and put him back in his tank, even if it's just a quick water change - better safe than sorry!
