Filter and heater questions.

For a 3 gallon kritter keeper:
What heater and filter are best suited for it? Do you have recommendations?

You could go with a sponge filter or a nano filter..I believe tetra makes a smaller filter called the 3i? I personally use a red sea nano filter in my critter keeper and a penn plax adjustable heater.

Is the Red sea Nano quiet? I really don't want something loud.

you can use the whisper 3i for a filter, its fairly quiet and i've never had to baffle them, i use them in 2 different tanks and my cousin has one in her tank. as for heater, i say anything marked for under 10g is safe. i've always used the top fin brand but have recently been hearing some horror stories about their heaters so i'm not going to suggest that. i think aqueon is a decent brand, someone correct me if i'm wrong

The nano will hum a bit on a KK. The whisper 3i might be a little tall for it and needs an intake sponge to keep from ingesting fin tips.

The best filter is probably the Lee's/Tom's sponge filter.
