Hello from the Pacific Northwest

Hey members! This is a neat section!

I'm from Seattle but currently live outside Portland and travel around the NW quite a bit. If you live in the WA, OR, ID, area, please add me or send me a message! I have tried to add and keep in touch with other hobbyists in the area so we can have a little network.

I like going for walks, punk music, bettas, apple juice, writing, Haribo gummy bears, making new friends, the fallout game series, and working as a nanny and a tutor. I play upright bass and love basketball and photography as well.

My areas of "expertise" (using that term loosely, I'm always learning more) would include sorority keeping and giant bettas, so if you have questions or interest in either of those, let me know. I can give you lots of information, resources, and point you to members with good information on those topics as well. I've just started breeding marbles and hope to include giants soon. I currently only keep halfmoon plakats cause they are the best!

I don't see how people can NOT LIKE haribo gummy bears. They're clearly the best brand. ALL of their gummy candies are amazing to me!

Yay for Western Washington Betta fans! Sad to say I don't know much about gummy candies. What kind of punk music do you like? Classic late 70s or modern? Curious either way, this is a great place for music. I think my coworkers mostly listen to me ramble about fish because I'm management (albeit lower tier) . So this forum is probably a nice relief for them (my husband & closer friends will hear about it either way, lol). Anyway, I like the idea of having a group of North Westerners.

Where you at Myrta? I'm talking 70's late 60's. Dead Kennedys and the like. Well if we ever meet up I'll bring some Haribo products and get you hooked. I think they're a Japanese company.

Besides their bears which are my fave, their gummy frogs are my favorite.
