Talked to my mom. I'm not allowed to move the tank. She said just to keep a closer eye on it and the supplies. She took the bucket and hid it away. She's a bit upset but says i just have to work with what I've got.

I'd tell your grandmother to stop politely and explain that he could die because of soap contaimination or stress alone. Explain to her that a sick fish is a fish that could very well die and make you very upset and if she pulls the just a fish crap say: "He's not just a fish...He's my pet and I love him very much. Please respect him as if you would a normal pet."

I've had that talk many times with her now. She just tells me "I know, I know! Stop telling me!" And after the bucket went 'missing', she started trying to guilt me about almost everything. Ridiculous stuff. Like that I didn't drink any of her weight loss drinks (I'm already about 10 lbs under weight and am trying to gain, not lose), that I dont ever eat any of her 'diet' snacks, that I won't take her prescribed eye drops, that I don't pay enough attention to the cats (I pay plenty), that I'm not at home enough, and so on. Better for me to be harassed then my fish! I also set up a little barricade thing around the fish tank so she can't get to him as easily.
