What to add in a 10 gallon?

Hey guys, I have a 10 gallon filtered/heated tank that currently has 1 male betta, 4 ghost shrimp, and will soon have 2 amano shrimp. I want to add another species of fish, though. I'd rather understock my tank than anything else.

What is an easy, hardy fish I can add to the tank without having to spend too much extra time caring for them?

Would 3 albinio cories work? My LPS doesn't sell dwarfs/pygmies...

I'm also thinking about schooling fish, but I'm not sure. My betta's somewhat aggressive but he doesn't really mind the shrimp.

Any small tetras work as great tank mates as long as they're not TOO colorful.

Ember and cardinal tetras seem to be a popular schooling variety among this forum. just be sure to get enough to make a proper school (4-5 should be fine in your tank.) Too few and they get nippy because they feel threatened. if you do go with another variety, do a bit of research and make sure they aren't a particularly nippy breed.

If you don't want to take chances with nipping you can get 4-5 cories, as long as the gravel or sand you have isn't sharp.

would i have space with 4-5 cories? I'd rather have a tank capacity on the low side.

Panda cories would be great, if you can get them. :) They aren't as small as pygmies, but they are noticeably smaller than bronze, peppered etc. :)
