Petsmart CT Betta

I've been wanting a betta for a while now and I finally got my hansome little Romeo from Petsmart two days ago, he was swimming all around his little cup. I had to have him :)
Anyways, he's a red crowntail betta with a little blue. He seems to be adjust well to his new 10 gal tank, eating and swimming around just fine, but his fins look so tiny compared to what I've seen! I'm a new owner and maybe a little paranoid, but is it because he's so young or does he have fin rot? D: I know they are not very healthy in that little cup of theirs. I'll post some pictures;

First off congrats on your new little Romeo =] I actually got a Crowntail Betta too, yesterday.

And I don't believe he has fin rot, doesn't look sick at all from his pics. Probably he's young or that might just be the way he is.

Beatiful betta! From the pictures I see no signs of fin fot. The name romeo is actually very cute:)

His fins will probably stretch out over the next several months. Like others said, he might be on the young side and still has some growing to do. He's gorgeous!

Thank you guys for your comments I found out he is completely fine, the problem was in the tank.. the current was too strong! I felt so bad! My poor little fella! I fixed it immediately and now he's beautifully extended his fins! Here's a picture;
