I will be buying yarn tomorrow to make my friend's baby an afghan. I'm super excited! I've never done a project this big. I will be making it in stripes, using three different yarns. I'm nervous. I'll be using double crochet.

I just blocked it...now waiting for it to dry. :D I'm so glad I discovered blocking. I just made it 4" longer. Wahooo!~

IKR! XD Oh oh oh!!! Get either size F or H! H is like the best for EVERYTHING! XD I've been using F though for the amigurmi stuff.
I've been using "Ami ami dogs" so far but there was another one at our library with hamsters in it! :D They're easier than dogs and have less parts to attach. It was "The complete Idiot's guide to amigurumi" (I know dumb title but they show you how to do it.)
It's easier for me to read the steps by how many rows than looking at the pattern. I fail at crocheting patterns. XD
If you go to youtube, look up "Art of Crochet by Teresa". And she should have some amigurumi. Her vids are soooo simple and a lot easier than some of those others who do it too fast. XD
I CAN NOT knit! XD I hope you like it, BFFL!!! ^.^
