This one says size I, so that's what I'm using! I've never seen one say it takes an L before. Maybe you're looking at only chunky yarn?

Wow ! Yea, I am. But the chunky yarn is the only kind that works good in my hands. Looks like I need to buy one off of Joanns.

I don't usually follow the label on the yarn because it might not be the most comfortable one for me.
Lately I've been working with pretty chunky yarn (Wool Ease) and I use a N (9MM) for the chain and K (6.5MM) for the rest.
You just have to find the hook that works best.
I do remember having a very hard time finding 8MMs

Everyone knits and crochets so fast. :D It takes me forever to finish projects. I started a scarf and I've actually been knitting pretty faithfully and it's still only maybe 8" long. Boo.

Sweeda, beautiful afghan!

Nope, it's ONLY cuz i'm using super bulky yarn, using a size 9mm crochet hook AND doing the front loop double crochet stitch so each stitch is bout 2 inches high xD
