Yep, I got the "attempted to deliver" crap on the tracking. Yeah buddy, I was in my house with my son after he had a seizure at the time you "tried" to deliver the package, so I KNOW you didn't try to deliver anything. /rant

I taught myself how to crochet last week. I bought a kit and some yarn and first made a scarf. I didn't know that certain yarns are better for certain things and apparently I bought the wrong yarn so I've been having quite a time trying to find something I wanted to make. I just finished making a present for the person who convinced me to crochet. She makes little gifts but no one makes her anything so I made her an owl (those are her initials). This is an example that came with the pattern:

Very cute! I tend to not knit things for knitters....because they can knit (and I feel, they knit better then me).

My pink scarf. This picture really does not do the pink justice. It's hotter than this.

Thank you, guys! Yeah, I'm quick as long it's double crochet! Single crochet would have taken much longer.

I picked my next project. I'm crocheting a sweater for my dog. He has cancer and is losing his hair so I thought I would make him something to keep him warm.
