Question I don't know the problem is!!

My betta has had a few holes in a couple of his fins for about a week. I began treating him with AQ salt on the 14th and there seems to be very little change. I originally thought it was fin rot but the holes look pretty circular and are in the middle of his tail, closer to his body. I really don't know if it's anything I should be worried about, or if it's just something I can't identify. His attitude has not really changed much, except he acts a little hungrier. But he always seems hungry...

I have him in an unfiltered 2 gallon. At one point I thought the holes were spots, but now I'm just not sure. They're pretty small and look about the same size. What could this possibly be?

oh! and i forgot to say that if they don't look any bigger than i'd say you've stopped the fin rot. but i'd continue using the AQ salt for a little longer just the make sure. and also, you'll want to get API stress coat to help heal those fins up!

Hmmmm...it sounds like fin rot but it might also be your plants that you have in your tank, especially if they are plastic or the metal might be sticking out of your silk plants. I would check that also and keep treating him a little bit longer in AQ salt.
