They do better in pairs, and there are plenty out there needing homes. I have 2 rabbits myself, male/female, both spayed/neutered

I know. My Rikki Tikki needs to be neutered. I was going to do it two months ago. But some things came up.

In Albuquerque, the city shelter spays/neuters all rabbits that go out, and they only cost $20. Pretty cool. Both are buns are from shelters. Can't even get a rabbit neutered for $20!

Rikki didn't come from a shelter sadly. I thought about going to a shelter after I get him fixed and let him choose a friend. Since I don't keep rats and mice anymore. I have two mice listed, but they are about 2 years old.

FYI, rabbits will usually always have a period of aggression with each other, but will bond. We had a male/female that was bonded, and the male went into (under fence) the neighbors yard. Had him for years, he had never done that - sadly, their dog killed him.
We got the female another male, and she chased him around, but now they are so sweet with each other. You do need to just be patient. Taking a rabbit to the shelter to pick out a mate, probably won't work, as he'll be scared and won't show aggression until he/she's on its own property/territory.

That is true. They also have a 30 day thing to where if were not happy, well him, we can take the rabbit back and try another buddy.
Forgot to mention! Some of my Betta Fish need names!
