pics

the single shots are from when i first got them so they look a lil young and dull, they really got more vibrant in color as i took care of them. the other 2 pics are of my fist attempt spawning, the male by his nest and first embrace

Well they aren't THAT new to breeding so that is a bit of a plus!:)

Did the female do the same thing before?

yeah this is their second time, first time my male ate all the eggs ><
and thats my goal, to get some multi color diverse fish =]

and yes the first time my female did the same thing but after 20 hours she gave in to temptation and let the male do his thingthis time, its been 30 hours now, and shes still being timid.

@jibruno: Haha dont you just love bettas?! Lol. Their stubbornness is annoying at times but pays off in the end. I have eggs now finally after this being the 4th attempt she finally gave in and they embraced. I didnt see them embrace myself but I do see eggs which is a bit exciting and my goal is to have some DTs in this spawn and get a few with the REALLY nice and full, if not almost full, dragon.

Good luck with yours!
