Sorority

I have a 10 gallon tank here,empty and calling out to be filled!

I was thinking of starting a sorority. How many would be safe in a 10 gallon? 4?

I have my Saga. She is currently living in my 29 gallon community tank and she doesn't bother the other fish. She doesn't seem to care about them really. She also rarely flares at her reflection, most times she will just look and then swim away. So I believe she has a more 'gentle' nature. So I don't think she would be a problem.

I have never had a sorority before, as I only ever had males. Saga is my first female. So any tips and advice is welcomed!

5 minimum, 6 maximum. :) Incredibly heavy planting and decoration is a must. If you can, get sisters or girls who are used to living together. It will increase your chances of success. :) My girls who were very used to being in a sorority readily accepted a girl from another sorority, just because being surrounded by other girls was normal for them.

I will set the tank up,but probably not buying any girls yet,as I have not seen many recently. I am going to wait for a shipment to come in,so I can try and get siblings. Plus I need more sand. This tank was given to me and came with gravel and I like the look of sand better, thats what I prefer to use in my tanks. So the tank is not ready yet,but I figured I would learn all I can about sororities in the meantime.
