New Sorority Tank

So I finally got my new girls tank set up and everbody but one I have in quarantine treatment for bloating. I plan on getting some diffrent decor later but worked with what I had for now.

larger female was hard to get a pic of her she was hiding in her drift wood cave lol

White female 2

red female

Blue females 1-2-3

I'm thinking of using Sailor Moon names instead of my Bleach names like I planned. I named the quarantine female Wicked Lady for some reason and it stuck.

I love all of your females!
That second to last one though, is making me nervous. She looks a little like a young male... are you sure she's a she? All I've seen is a picture so I don't know but something about her body and tail just screams "MALE! DANGER!"

They are all beautiful though! Have fun!

Thanks, i'm still getting to know there personality but ill go from there. Suprisingly no nipping yet. Fawn I got the small blue one from walmart labeled as female but when I added her to the tank I've started to have my doubts so I'm hoping I dont end up with a 6th male but if I do I'll find a way to deal with it. I'm gonna post the pic in another thread and see what people think, her colors really bright and the fins make me wonder.

Walmart often mislabels their fish! They can be so annoying! I hope she turns out to be a long-finned female!

Check for an egg spot. Some males can appear to have one, so if he/she does it doesn't mean he/she is definitively a female but it will give you a better idea. She/he should have one by now if he/she is a female, so if he/she doesn't have one then he/she is probably a male

There is one, gah stupid walmart. Hopefully he/she grows into her fins. If its a male he gets a 2.5 gallon with heater in the kitchen lol

There is always the possibility that she is a she, but just looks like a he. Sometimes it can be hard to tell. Either way, he/she is very beautiful!
