Updated pics from serious fin damage due to tailbiting. I believe it is healed up as much as possible now.

Gorgeous boy. D: If he disappears while you're away, you know the culprit. XD

What an amazing fish. I saw one like him except with a little bit of blue.

What made yours stop biting? I've got one that I've tried lots of things but he still chomps. It's very frustrating. I've tried more stimulation (flaring, etc.), Indian Almond Leaf, less stimulation (quiet room, no other fish), more frequent water changes, less frequent water changes, and nothing has worked.

As far as I can tell, the only things I've done, was got him a a heater and religiously change the water every sunday. It just seems to be a growing up phase that some go through I think. I have been meaning to look into getting these indian almond leaves. What exactly is this benefit? I have betta water conditioner that says it has something to do with them in it.
