I also tried tropical flake food which neither of them like. Any suggestions?

This is her by the way. Her name is Effy :)
Tank size and water params? Temperature of tank/bowl?

Try feeding them frozen bloodworms.

I change the water every other day and that tank size is about 2 gallons.

I feed my betta Nutrafin Max, Betta Food. It's flakes with natural colour enhancers, and he just loves it. I have to crush them into small pieces for him though, because they are big flakes. Sometimes I'll give him freeze dried blood worms, but they are too big for his mouth too, so I have to break them up. He doesn't seem to like them as much as the flakes.
