I was at Walmart last night and they had the prettiest crowntail I have ever seen. Mostly blue with red just on his tips. BRIGHT. I don't normaly like crown tails but he was a beaut. They also had some tiny TINY females. There was a gorgeous tiny one, like silver with aqua/teal. She literally "shimmered" in her little bowl. And tiny, smaller than my fingernails tiny! I was SOOO tempted.
Their water was still clean, must have been a new shipment, there were however two dead on the shelf already. I hated leaving them there. But, I want a halfmoon, and only have the 5 gallon (+plus 2 1-gallons w/no heaters) So, I left them.
Now I feel guilty. I might have to go back. & then pick up 2 little heaters for the 1 gallons this weekend when we go out of town to get my halfmoon.
Wonder how ticked off Mr C will be if I sneak off and get two fish today, knowing he is taking me out of town to get one for me for Val day this weekend.
