HI! I currently own 1 betta fish with my Girlfriend (Our other has sadly passed away due to old age) his name is Ichi (since he was our first fish, and was oddly itchy and would rub against our soft plants) he currently (happily) lives in a 20 gallon tank with 4 black neon tetras and 2 cories. Despite Ichi being a male, he is very very shy, and calm, and enjoys laying in either his log, or his house (the red pagoda we have inside, and often times he lays on top of the cories). we feed him hikari micro pellets, and recently we have been feeding him just dried blood worms and he seems to enjoy it very much. I am an avid betta fish lover, and it always breaks my heart to see them in those tiny jars and I just want to take all that I can home and put them in the tank, but unfortunately its not possible in a 20 gallon tank T~T. I look forward to learning from the other veteran betta fish owners here on how to improve the life/happiness of my betta
