Introducing myself and picture of my Betta's tank.

I did some research on the Betta care and knew i didnt want him in a "bowl" but i figured they knew SOMETHING there at the store about cleaners... and the crab was a total impulse buy which i dont usually do.

I did NOT know the snail could have babies with itself though...O_o
I thought I was good if i only got 1... Glad the shrimp will keep the population down! Though I have had this tank for a little over a week now and the snail has STILL not moved... he is alive I checked on him yesterday to make sure... and he was stuck to a rock when i picked him out at the store...

thanks for the tip, I spot clean the tank every day when I look in on him (I found 2 shrimp "sheds" since i got them and i took the old husks out. it was just sheds, they didnt die -thats what i though at first though)

You actually ended up a lot better than most people who listen to pet store people do, however :p

The apple snail/mystery snail has separated sexes (dioecious) and is NOT a hermaphroditic snail which means it does NOT breed with itself. Please, research before you scare the poop out of members hahaha
