Big ear or dumbo betta look nice.
But if this is your first spawn I recommend you get another type of breed
Rating difficulty level
It's high
Since big ear throw a high deform rate
Hm line is really hard to maintain and rear

From my experience
Hm is the hardest to breed and maintain line
Ct hardest to keep the fin straight
Big ear since it have a high deform rate
Dt is the hardest to get a pure stain excluding the hm
Pk is the simplest

Haven't get into feather or rose tail yet.
But from how I see the tail and length it's going going to be hard

Male is pretty
But I don't know about the female since both of her pic.
She was at the bottom
Not a really good sign

Before you order an expensive pair (costly incl. shipping), set a goal - are you doing it for the experience or do you plan to work on a certain line. You don't need an expensive pair if only for the experience. But to work on a line; Look at the IBC form standard. Get a pair that closely resembles them and get your money's worth.

Like said before, you really need to keep quality and goal into consideration. Are you breeding long term? Do you really think they'll make quality fry? How well and where can you sell them?

Also, with the different types comes different difficulties. I haven't crossbred yet, but I'm planning to, and I'm preparing and thinking a lot beforehand so I don't make mistakes I'll regret.
